Diver training involves an understanding of dive theory and practical skills, which becomes more complex depending to what level you are training to. Whenever I teach an Open Water course or entry level courses, I make sure that I tell my divers that they must relax after a day’s diving – not going to the gym or doing other extraneous sports activities, nor travelling to altitude, which is quite popular here in Cyprus and not taking hot showers.
